Bassett's Station is located at the intersection of Hwy 49 and Gold Lake Road in Sierra City, CA.  This webcam is at an elevation of 5402 ft.  To the left of the large tree is Hwy 49.  Gold Lake Road can be seen on the right.  Below the roofline is the Bassett's Station entrance and parking area.  During the snowy season Hwy 49 is typically plowed and Gold Lake Road is closed, but please always check current road conditions before traveling in the high country.
